How much do you spend on Texas City services?

Residents want to understand what they are getting for their dollar — and rightfully so.
To increase transparency and accountability, it’s important to understand how funds are allocated and what outcomes are being achieved.
Each department’s budget is aligned with Community Matters 2030 goals, with 2–3 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to measure results.
Unlike traditional budgeting that focuses on inputs and processes, Texas City’s approach is focused on performance and outcomes.
And here’s something important to note:
👉 The 2025–2026 budget is based on a reduced property tax rate
👉 There has been no new tax rate for the last three terms (2020–2026)
